Nickel testing is positive

Magnetic material recovered withing the crater is tested for nickel. Small round balls of sand, clay and metal are found around the crater. These are created by the hot gas and friction of the meteorite impacting sand and clay.
The pink color indicates none other than nickel metal which is rare in the earth but mostly found in meteorites.
